Our Friend Munchie

This page is a memorial to our friend Munchie who passed away from cancer on February 9, 2007.
We sadly miss him and he will always be in our hearts. Plus, we've got all the great memories!

Munchie was a very special cat, we got him in June of 1992 as a friend had found these new born kittens someone had discarded in a dumpster and he was the only one still alive with the ambilical cord still attached. We played nurse for a few days, ohh did he like to squawk but Patches (another cat of ours) just had babies and one day, Patches just picked up Munchie and placed him with her babies and the rest is history!
Sadly, Patches passed away in April 2004 at age 17.

This is Patches, Munchie's adopted Mom who raised him!

This is Patches, Munchie's adopted Mom who raised him. She was a great mother to all her kittens
and it was a huge loss when she got sick and we had to put her down.

Here's some pics of our friend Munchie and we are so "thankful" to have had him in
our lives for nearly 15 years and wish we had another 15!

Relaxing on the couch in his favourite spot.

He loved to sit in Carol's plant holder, in fact he claimed it to be his own personal hanging bed.

He was always ready to snack with you, maybe that's why his name was Munchie?

This picture actually as they say let the cat out of the bag as our 2 sons saw this picture they knew the Easter Bunny was not real, because they said we must of took the picture! What can we say?

Hey, who took this picture? The Easter Bunny?
Sadly, but this is the picture that ended in our two
boys not believing in the Easter Bunny any more!

Hope you enjoyed as much as we did in posting them, thanks for looking!
